Lindenhof Safaris - Windhoek, Namibia
Sable Hunting in Namibia at Lindenhof SafarisWe are an outfitter with over twenty years of hunting experience in Africa. We are now concentrating on Namibia mainly as we have a large hunting ranch that has been in the family since 1982. We also have a small five star hotel (Hotel Thule)  in the capital Windhoek, as well as the largest taxidermy studio in the country. We strive to give our clients the best service and quality, but are interested in welcoming a client and saying goodbye to a friend. We offer hunting on 25,000 acres of game fenced area, and 10,000 acres of free range hunting land. This gives the hunting client the opportunity to hunt on a variety of over twenty species of plains game. As we do not believe in massWaterbuck hunting in Namibia tourism, our game has the chance to develop into top class trophies and any client can be assured that at least 80% of their trophies will be in the SCI record books .We give the hunter an all-in-one service, and there are no hidden costs whatsoever.

Our ranch and the concession areas in Namibia stretch from open savannahs to the dunes in the Kalahari desert. We also hunt in the mountain ranges in central Namibia, so the client can hunt in any area that he/she desires or that is suitable to him/her. We hunt on the fair chase basis and all our hunts are on foot, stalking the game. We can, of course, adapt the hunt to meet a client’s special needs or requests.

Hunting Roan in NamibiaPlains Game hunt in Namibia; Your day will begin with a breakfast of your choice before the sun rises. After this you will climb onto one of our well equipped hunting vehicles and drive to an area where our well qualified PH`s expect to find the species that you are interested in hunting. Leopard Hunting Namibia
Special 10-Day Hunt - Just $12,500

Leopard Hunting Namibia with Lindenhof SafarisWhen Namibia Leopard hunting, we can so this in two ways:

With dogs: We contact our partners in various areas, and inform them of the intent of Namibia Leopard hunting during a certain time period. The PH’s keep an eye out for Leopard kills or baits that have been taken by a big cat. Once the bait has been taken or a kill has been made, we will arrive in the area before sunrise, and try to pick up the Leopard tracks at first light. The dogs are then released and pick up the tracks. Once they are on the tracks, we will follow the dogs until they put the Leopard up on a tree or a rock. We will then maneuver you into a position to shoot the Leopard at a distance of about 50-70 yards. This Namibia Leopard hunting method has a good success rate, but is more demanding on the client, as the client will have to keep up with the PH and the dogs.

Over a Bait: We put out Leopard baits in areas where we expect to find a goodLeopard Hunting in Namibia

population of big Namibia Leopards. These baits are controlled daily three to four weeks before the client arrives. Once Leopard bait has been taken and we can see that it is a large cat, we keep putting out more bait for the Leopard. We build a hide about 100 yards downwind of the Leopard bait, and once the client arrives we will proceed to sit in the bait from late afternoon to early hours of the morning to wait for the Leopard to arrive. The client will be briefed on the Namibia Leopard Hunting procedures and once the cat is on the bait we will go through the procedures once again and shoot the Leopard. During this Leopard hunt, the client will spend the days hunting for more bait and checking all the baits that have already been put out.
